Scott holds a PhD in Communication and Culture from York University and worked in the academic sector as a researcher and professor for more than ten years before turning to a full-time career as a freelance editor, writer, and educator.

He has lent his expertise as an editor and writer to a wide range of individual and institutional clients for diverse projects and needs.

He lives in Ottawa with his wife, daughter, and son.

An award winning author and historian, David Thompson holds a PhD in History from Queen’s University. David has over ten years of experience advising graduate students on their writing and editing articles, theses, and dissertations. He has also provided his expertise as a researcher, writer, and editor to individual faculty members and institutional clients.

He lives in Ottawa where he is working on a book on Great War veterans.
